Business Plan - A 5 Step Online Business Plan To Meet Success Online
1. Decide what business / industry to go into. Find out which industry has high growth trends or at least, a stable one. You do not want to kill yourself (even before you start) by being in an industry that is declining. Being in a growth industry increases your chance of success. For instance, you may choose to be in E-learning industry as it has a very exciting growth trend.

services of that industry that you wish to sell or provide. Choose one or a combination that can harness most of your strengths, give you maximum exposure and allow for growth.

This is important so that you can be sure that prospects will choose you over your competitors. Brainstorm with your family and friends. Get their feedback. Find out their wants and desires and see if you can meet their needs. Additionally, research on the internet and check out your competitors. 4. Have a business and marketing plan. Write this down. For simplicity, you can consider thinking of your plan in terms of the 4Ps of marketing:
Product includes packaging design, branding, trademarks, warranties, guarantees, product life cycles and new product development. Price involves setting profitable and justifiable prices. Place covers the physical distribution of goods. Promotion encompasses personal selling, advertising and sales promotion.
5. Decide on a domain name, keywords and description for your website.Preferably choose one that has some of your keywords in the domain name. That way, there is a chance of a higher ranking on your website on search engines.
